What Music I Want is
A sensory-sensitivity music rating database and discovery platform. Ratings are generated by AI and curated humans. They are subjective, imperfect, and should not be used as medical advice.
How you may use the site
- Browse, search, and share any page with anyone.
- Link to individual songs, guides, or artists.
- Quote our writing with attribution.
- Use the checker and AI tools for personal use.
What you may NOT do
- Scrape the database in bulk. Rate-limited endpoints are a signal, not a challenge.
- Abuse the AI generation endpoints (poem, tattoo, stub, check, session, journey) with automated scripts.
- Submit content (fan stories, song names) that is hateful, defamatory, spam, or infringes copyright.
- Impersonate anyone.
Content you submit
If you submit a fan story, a song check, or a playlist, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display it on the site. You retain ownership. We can remove anything at our discretion.
Purchases
Optional credit purchases via Stripe give you additional AI generations. Credits are non-refundable and non-transferable, except where required by law.
Warranty
The site is provided “as is.” Sensory ratings are subjective recommendations, not medical or clinical guidance. If you have sensory processing disorder, misophonia, autism, ADHD, or any condition that affects your auditory experience, consult a healthcare professional. Music that is calming for most people may not be calming for you.
Liability
We are not liable for any harm resulting from your use of the site. Including but not limited to: a song not being as calm as we rated it, an affiliate product not meeting your expectations, or an email recommendation not landing.
Termination
We can suspend your access if you abuse the service. You can leave anytime by closing the tab.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Disputes resolved in good faith.
