Net amount is what is left after fees, not what the fan handed over. Your raw data report shows the steps on each sale row: the sub total, then the transaction fee and its type, down to net amount. Read across one row and you can see exactly where the difference went.
Bandcamp’s “Reading your raw data sales report” page (dated June 10, 2026) documents the columns in this order for the money: item price, quantity, discount code, sub total, additional fan contribution, tax rate, seller tax, marketplace tax, shipping, transaction fee, fee type, item total, amount you received, then the revenue-share columns, change to payout balance, payout balance and net amount, followed by collection society share. Tax and shipping are part of what the fan was charged but are separate columns from the sale price, which is one reason the fan’s total can exceed your net.
Bandcamp’s fees and revenue share change, and the figures we saw were only in search-result summaries. Your fee type and transaction fee columns state what was actually taken on each sale. Use those.

Last checked October 15, 2026. Sources marked “read as a summary” are pages we could see only as a search-result summary because the page itself would not open for us; we have kept those claims general and not quoted numbers from them. Per-stream figures are estimates from the two dated articles named below; none of them are ours.
